Our teen fashion camp curriculum highlights various aspects of the fashion industry from magazine publishing to entrepreneurship and how to start your own clothing line. Each week features different field trips and guest speakers.
I designed our teen curriculum to blend fun fashion activities like styling and marketing with a focus on launching your own clothing line. In high school, I dreamed of running a fashion business but didn’t have guidance. By senior year, I started my own line, which eventually sold internationally—even landing a trunk show deal with Bloomingdale’s! I want our campers to meet real designers, stylists, and industry pros, giving them hands-on experience and connections to explore every side of fashion, from design to business.
The Fashion Class, now celebrating 15 years, is a sewing and design studio where teens learn sewing, draping, marketing, and merchandising year-round and during summer! With retail and sewing studios on Manhattan’s Upper East and West Sides, our Teen Camp takes place at our pop-up studio at Loft39 near Bryant Park. This prime location puts campers in the heart of NYC’s Fashion District, just steps from Mood Fabrics, the FIT Museum, and designer showrooms—perfect for an unforgettable fashion experience!
Our camp instructors are highly qualified graduates from some of the world’s top fashion and art programs, including Parsons The New School for Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). In addition to their academic credentials, our instructors actively work in the fashion industry as designers, stylists, and fashion illustrators. All instructors pass a background check and our instructor training program.
Their real-world experience brings valuable insights and expertise to our teen fashion camp, offering campers a unique opportunity to learn from professionals who are shaping the future of fashion.

Now in our 15th year, The Fashion Class is a fashion-program that teaches teens sewing, draping, marketing and merchandising all throughout the school year and summer. Our fashion camp is for serious fashionistas who want to make their designs and dreams a reality!
