Our camp takes place at Loft39 located at 38 West 39th Street New York, NY 10018. While we do have two gorgeous NYC sewing studios uptown, we feel that it’s better for our teens to be able to walk to fabric stores, museums, & design showrooms to have a comprehensive fashion experience. Loft39 features a large open space, a buzzer door system for security, and lots of fun locations to hold our Friday photoshoot! It’s one block from Bryant Park between 5th and 6th Avenues.
We will primarily walk to field trips (weather permitting) as our pop-up studio is right in NYC’s Fashion District! Our student/teacher ratio will be 5:1 and any field trip expenses are included in the camp fee.
Each camp week will have up to 20 campers so that each student get individualized attention during sewing and studio time! All registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis and we require a 30% non refundable deposit to hold your child’s seat in fashion camp.
We are a day camp and do not provide any lodging.
We welcome everyone to fashion camp so long as they’re 13-17 years old!
Now in our 15th year, The Fashion Class is a fashion-program that teaches teens sewing, draping, marketing and merchandising all throughout the school year and summer. Our fashion camp is for serious fashionistas who want to make their designs and dreams a reality!
